Oberix Group is proud to be celebrating its 30 year anniversary in 2022. The company has come a long way since its humble beginnings back in 1992, starting off as Alerton Australia and operating out of a single room office in Kew.
Over the last three decades, the Oberix Group has evolved into a complete smart building solution provider, leveraging specialisations through our business units, Alerton Australia, Leading Edge Automation, Operational Intelligence, Abakus Analytics, Conservia & Optergy to create smart, sustainable spaces.
The past 30 years of growth have been spurred by innovative technology and human-centric solutions focused on improving sustainability and efficiency all over the globe.
How did we get here?
Growing at a rapid rate, the company quickly outgrew its one room office in Kew and moved to Clayton in 1996. By then the team was 12 strong. By the early 2000s, Alerton was spreading all over Australia so fast it was twice listed in Australia’s Business Review Weekly’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
Jump forward from then and 3,700 successfully deployed smart solutions around the world later, Oberix Group has expanded across Malaysia, Singapore, the UK and the US, and most recently New Zealand. We offer a range of smart solutions through our specialised business divisions: Operational Intelligence, Abakus Analytics, Conservia, Alerton Australia, Leading Edge Automation and Optergy.
Our solutions have enabled 3 smart city precincts, and over 84 5-7 Star NABERS rated buildings with many more on the way.
